Her advice for the younger generation:

When you’re young, I think the idea of growing older is a little scary. I’m here to say it’s such a gift and a blessing. Every scar and wrinkle is proof of a life lived.  Life is fun and can get messy.  Embrace it all. It’s never too late to shake things up. If you aren’t happy with something, change it. Stop worrying about what people think. Give way less f*cks. Set boundaries. Stop over explaining. No is a complete sentence! Laugh a lot, sing in your car, dance in your kitchen, love hard , stay curious,  basically as you get older, never “act your age.” And don’t forget to wear sunscreen!
