Dawn and Hawkes at Cactus Cafe Austin Texas

I found this band playing at Greune Hall on Easter. I was completely consumed by their sound. I could feel the love pouring from the stage. I had to photograph these people. I connected with Miranda Dawn after the show and showed her my work. We made a plan to meet up for coffee to further discuss the next week. We spent hours connecting over life stories and our love of art. They’re releasing a new record soon and I am so honored to help document the process of recording and releasing! These people are not only extremely talented songwriters and musicians but just good people. I’m already looking forward to the recording session at ARLYN and release parties. Let the fun begin!
